Porter Gale Outdoor HeadshotPorter Gale, Start-up advisor, public speaker and the former VP of Marketing for Virgin America.
She is also the author of Your Network Is Your Net Worth which was published in 2013. Ms. Gale has over twenty years of experience in marketing, advertising and documentary film making. Her films have aired on Lifetime, PBS and in film festivals around the globe. She is a technology-lover and frequent keynote speaker and has been interviewed by press around the globe.


joe.fwKevin Wilson, CEO of Mosquito Joe, a Franchisor of outdoor pest control services.
Kevin Wilson serves as a member of the Envest II and Envest III Investment Committees. Kevin has a strong background in strategic consulting, corporate executive leadership, successful entrepreneurship and private equity management. Kevin is currently the CEO of Mosquito Joe, a franchisor of pest control services, after serving as a Managing Director of Envest for 8 years. He began his career as a consultant at Bain & Company; co-founded Benny’s Bagels, a successful chain of 28 stores; served as CEO of South African Airway’s Technical; and before joining Envest was Senior Managing Director of Discovery Americas I, a $50 million private equity fund based in Mexico City, Mexico. He holds a business degree from the University of Western Ontario.


W. Adam Boyd, CEO of ToCharge
W. Adam Boyd is a business executive and the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ToCharge. Based in Hampton Roads, Boyd began his career in merchant services as a National Director for Global Payments. By late 2009, Boyd finalized the initial structuring of ToCharge and launched the company in December of that same year. In 2014, Inc. Magazine recognized ToCharge in their annual list of America’s fastest growing private companies. Under Boyd’s management, ToCharge achieved a 3-year growth rate of 1,209% and ranked as the 29th fastest growing financial services firm in the country.

Mr. Boyd graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2005.

Diana Ransom is features editor at Inc. Magazine where she manages, writes and edits the site’s special reports and daily news stories. She tends to cover a diverse array of topics–from young entrepreneurs and startups to venture capital and politics.

She has served as the deputy editor of, the assistant business editor for the New York Daily News and as a reporter and editor for, where she received a Deadline Club award for deadline reporting for her story “The 70% Discount on Goldman’s $500M Gift.” She’s also worked for The Wall Street JournalFast Company magazine and The Christian Science Monitor.

Ransom received a master’s degree in business and economic reporting from New York University and an undergraduate business degree from George Mason University.
